～“ agree with ”, “ agree on ”, “ agree to ”の違い～
| “agree with”は、「人」か「人が行う何か（※意見とか）」に同意する時に使います。
“agree on”は、トピックなどに同意する時に使います。 “agree to”は、動作や行動、結論などに同意する時に使います。だいたい行動が伴います。
◆Agree with + 人・物（事） 例） Agree with my mother.（私の母に同意する）
◆Agree on + 話題・題 例） I don’t agree on hiring this person. I don’t trust her. （彼女を信頼していないので雇うことには反対です。）
◆Agree to + 行動・結論（an action or conclusion） ※ポイントは“to do something”に同意することです。 例）She agreed to a higher tax rate. （彼女は税金を上げることに同意した。）
その他、 I agreed to clean the house.（家の清掃に同意した） I agreed to cutting my hair.（髪を切ることに同意した）※”cutting”でも”cut”でもいずれもOKです このように、”agree to ～”には必ず行動が伴います。 |
